Tobias Wunden is Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Entwine. Entwine provides professional services based on and around the open source video processing and management system Matterhorn. He Co-founded Entwine and served as its CTO ever since its incorporation in 2011.
Tobias holds a Master of Computer Science degree from ETH Zurich, the leading Swiss technology university. His expertise in audio visual software systems as well as the interest in long-term archival and metadata standards evolved as the lead architect of the fully automated lecture capture system Replay at ETH Zurich, which later formed a foundational piece of Opencast Matterhorn, a distributed system for audio and video processing and management. Tobias has been a lead architect on Matterhorn since it's incarnation in 2008 and is an active member of the Opencast community, a group of experts around online video, lecture capture and a/v supported teaching and learning.
