Kurt Erik has a background in engineering and business development of ISP and world-wide carrier networks. He has been the CEO of Netnod since 2002. Kurt Erik has worked actively as a WG chair in RIPE and the IETF, served as a member of the Internet Architecture Board 2005-2009, as a board member of Euro-IX, the Internet Exchange business association since 2002. In 2003 he became the chairman of the same association. He has participated actively in development, standardisation and deployment of IPv6 in the IETF and various operational forums. In addition, Kurt Erik serves as an adviser to the Swedish Minister for Information Technology and Energy.
