Attributes for apps – How mobile Apps can use SAML Authentication and Attributes

The existing SAML-based federations have a hard time to satisfy non-browser use-cases, which includes mobile apps. In this presentation we show a solution to make a mobile App use SAML to authenticate users and get their attributes. We will present a prototype mobile app that can query user attributes via a Shibboleth-based full-mesh federation in real time without the use of ECP or emulating a web browser.
