Business model for wireless and mobile services for NRENs

The critical bottleneck of today's educational and research network infrastructures is wireless. Their Wi-Fi networks are under great pressure, and mobile operators are not going to offer services tailored to their needs. The question arises if and how NRENs, traditionally focused on fixed, can obtain seamless mobile connectivity for their users. Can NRENs permit themselves doing nothing or will they endanger their right to exist? In this session, experiences and insights are shared to feed the discussion about developing a sustainable business model for NRENs within wireless.
